This was really fun, Jilly. Now I feel as if I've been to your house. I think everyone should do a tour.

Your house is NOT messy! Lived in, yes but you have everything organized! There was no clutter. You have wonderfully convenient shelving. I love those on the stairwells. Usually a perfect waste of space. Oh, and I so envy you that kitchen. It is so bright and cheerful and so LARGE.

Your dad is a wonderful artist! How nice you have those mementos! Does he still paint? It would be nice if he does. I'm finding keeping my mine occupied is the only thing that really helps at all.

I'm just tickled over this!

Lovely seeing your home and hearing your voice. I see you do needlework - me too!! I used to do loads for my mum and I have also done quite a few for my daughter, animal alphabet and winnie the pooh. You have done some lovely pictures and I'm very impressed indeed, especially the poppy fields. I've got a long way to go before I get to your standard. I certainly loved the pictures your dad has painted. Your home is certainly very tidy, I wouldn't dare do a video of my home at the moment!!!. What a gorgeous view from your kitchen. Just fields - lovely. Thank you so much for showing us this video.

I really like the bright fresh colors you've chosen for the walls. The numerous pictures are beautiful. So much space and storage in your kitchen. The backyard is delightful. Thanks for sharing your world with us.

You have a lovely home -- I enjoyed the pictures on the wall, especially of family. You know I'd like the one of Jesus knocking, right?

LOL! We have had that since we were first married and we got it originally because Simon is a fan of the pre-Raphaelite movement and William Holman Hunt in particular. This is a Hunt painting called the light of the world it hangs in St Pauls Cathedral so you can go see it if you come visit.

Actually I decided to look it up at this site:

It's very interesting apparently he painted it 3 times! I never knew that.
