Today’s DPT is: 6. A local landmark in winter. Choose a good one as we will take a photo of it in spring summer and autumn too. It will be interesting to compare a collection of shots of the same landmark during all 4 seasons.
This was quite hard for me to do because what is a local landmark for me right now, will hopefully not be a local landmark in spring!
With that in mind I have decided to have faith that we will be moving soon and therefore the local landmark that I have chosen is Morton village church. It is called St John the Baptist. It stands at just about the farthest point of the village from our new house.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to get over there to take photos so I have had to resort to finding web photos. They are all copyright free. The first too were taken in November so are at least about the right time of year. The third one shows the church illuminated at night.
I am looking forward to finding out about the history of the church and village once we move.
