Quick post

Things seem to have got sorted out amongst the various solicitors today.  The 2 indemnity policies have been agreed and are now in place. They even paid half the cost which was a bonus.

I had a phone call about 3.30pm to say we were ready to go and to ask for my confirmation.  I was then told that they would do their best to exchange before close of business but it was dependant on each solicitor being able to contact their client and their clients mortgage company.  She said stay by the phone and I will ring you. 

She rang at half past five to say that it hadn't happened because they couldn't get our vendors mortgage company.............too late on a Friday afternoon!  She assures me that exchange will take place on Monday morning and that she will ring me as soon as it is done. Completion, IE moving day is Thursday the 15th.

You will be pleased to know that Coralie was here today and we have made in roads in to the packing.  A long way still to go though.  We will be celebrating my Dads birthday and Christmas tomorrow so I will try to get on here when I can.
