Wednesday the 16th

16th of November already. Over half way through the month which means that there is only five and a half weeks until Christmas. I shall resist the urge to do a count down ticker. I am so disorganised this year. With the move being on and then off and now hopefully on again, everything just seems to have gone to pot. Not to mention the ill health that seems to have followed our family this year.
I am already looking ahead to 2012 and hoping it will treat us all well. I'm also looking forward to spring! Only 3 months or so to go! I can't believe that autumn is only just finishing and we still have the whole winter to get through. I am so not a winter girl. Give me hot sunny days any time.
I have a boring day of housework today. I need to have everything spick and span by lunch time as the estate agent is bringing someone to view the house. As part of the deal with David Wilson Homes who are buying our house we have to agree to viewings as they want to sell it on as soon as they can. It's a bit of a pain. Simon thinks I shouldn't bother too much what the house looks like as we don't care about selling it now. I can't do that though. I have to make sure it's reasonably tidy.
Once I have done that, I am going to make a couple of cards and then bake a cake to take to Denise tonight. Coralie and I have a sewing lesson with her. It's a few weeks since we have done that. She is going to try and teach us a few techniques that we haven't yet covered. That's good as once we move I am not sure how often I will be able to get to see her. We will be a lot further away.
I have got so much that I need to learn. I am still very much a beginner at this sewing lark. I have so many things that I want to make too. Hopefully next year when we are settled in the new house and I have my sewing / craft room set up, I will be able to make more progress.
Talking of progress, it is time to move myself and make inroads into that housework.
