How can it already be Thursday? How comes I don't seem to be getting anywhere fast? It has been another frustrating week of limbo. I have done the normal housework and some sewing but I have also been quite lazy.
We were out last night for the old Walton school Christmas get together. That is always quite nice. I wasn't really hungry though so I just had a prawn sandwich. Oh.......... That reminds me.... more happy dancing........ I lost another 1 and a half pounds this week! People had better start noticing......tell me you noticed!
I have house news...............kind of. To sort out the legal problems with the road and garage it has now been agreed that they will take out 2 indemnity policies which of course we get to pay for. Nobody seems to know how much yet! They should have these today..........hopefully. They are saying possibly exchanging contracts tomorrow or Monday. They are saying completion will definitely take place next Thursday, 15th of December. That is 6 days tomorrow!
So have I done any packing today? No. Still can't motivate myself! I can't believe they are finally getting it together and that it really is going to happen. I am worrying about how much extra this is going to cost us. I have booked a removals company.
So........from tomorrow I really do have to get my act into gear and believe that it is happening and start on the packing. We are up in Stevenage on Saturday for my Dads Birthday cum Christmas celebration so that is one day of the weekend gone. Sunday I think will be a busy one!
From next week I am not sure how much time I will have online. I have posted the DPT list in advance today. I guess on Wednesday at the latest I will do a signing out blog and then you will hear from me when you hear from me!
OK, going to go get my sewing stuff organised for going to Denise's tonight. It will be our last sewing lesson until into the new year. After that I am going out for a drink with my friend Eddy who is off to Thailand on Friday and won't be back until the end of January. I shall miss him when we move. I have known him over 20 years. He was the caretaker at the school that I used to work in back then. We often have a drink and a catch up gossip together as he only lives down the road. That is not going to be possible very often once we move as Eddy works the late shift and is never home until 10pm. Oh well....
