January's DPT list - note JANUARY not December!

As we are still being told that we will be moving house next Thursday, as promised here is the DPT list for January. We have no idea when we might be back online and as I don't wish to let all you die hard DPTers down I thought it was a good idea to get this up early. Don't confuse it with Decembers list!
JANUARY
  1. New year, new beginnings. What do you want from the year ahead?
  2. A stranger. There is a group on Flickr called the 100 strangers. The idea is to approach someone you have never met before and ask if you can take their picture. Then talk to them a bit to get some kind of background and upload the results. You could make a new friend. No good if you are shy though.
  3. 2 things or something representing the number 2.
  4. Something beginning with L (Suggested by Vicki).
  5. The letter A. This is another interpretation A-Z. The idea is to take a photo of something that looks like the letters A-Z. Take a look at this photo as an example, it’s actually a chain to a porch swing, but the one piece looks like a letter S. This idea might make us start looking at ordinary things – buildings, cloud formations, playground equipment, etc. – in a complete different way, which might give us new ideas. Remember this is not something beginning with A but something that looks like an A!
  6. Other peoples shoes. This is another idea to try and get us to look at things differently, to start seeing ordinary things in different way – taking a photo looking down at everyone’s shoes could get boring, so it forces you to start thinking creatively. Of course the downside of this is that people are going to start giving you weird looks for crawling around on the ground taking pictures of their shoes!
  7. January weather.
  8. A silhouette.
  9. Something abstract.
  10. Lines.
  11. Curves.
  12. A mirror.

  16. Shades of grey.
  17. Underneath.
  18. Temptation.
