My friend Melanie has been publishing some of her favourite Christmas music. Some I have enjoyed and some....well not so much! LOL. I guess like most things we all have different tastes.
I do like Christmas music........in moderation. I can't bear it blaring out in shops. It drives me crazy. Why do shops do that? I worked in Boots some years back at Christmas and it was a nightmare. They started the music as soon as the store opened and it played on a loop until closing time. Enough to drive you potty.
Mind you I hate music being played in shops at any time of the year. They have it so loud too. For goodness sake if I wanted to hear music I would have stayed home and switched on the radio. I really don't need it when I'm just out to get my groceries. (The grumpy old woman is out again!)
Anyway, I thought I would amuse myself and annoy all of you lot by posting some of my favourites each day.
We used to have the Phil Spector Christmas album (actually we still do but it is a record and we no longer have a record player) It became a family tradition to play that album whilst we decorated the tree. I love it. I miss those days.
My favourite Christmas song has to be Winter Wonderland. I love it. It is closely followed by many others though. Here it is.
