Dont-mess-with-me.

Apologies in advance but I am having another grumpy day! First of all there was the stupid trip to the shops that I have already told you about. Then I get home and........................I'm just plain grumpy OK! Why? I shall tell you........

1. It is freakin cold. I hate cold.
2. There are too many stupid people around.
3. Stupid husband has taken the camera to school. OK, yes it is his camera but I fail to see why that should be relevant. He must know that the photos that I took yesterday for my blog are on there.
4. I wanted to do my “Make do and mend” blog and now it will have to wait until this evening.
5. I wanted to take photos of the items from yesterdays blog so you can all see what they are. That will have to wait.
6. I sent an email to our solicitor before I went out but she hasn't replied.
7. Don't know why I bothered anyway, I already know nothing is happening today.
8. Spoke to her and the agent yesterday and the whole thing is getting more and more ridiculous. You know the saga of the unadopted road and how the solicitor is waiting to hear from the highways department? They requested yesterday that she send them a plan! Do they not have their own freakin plan? Do they not bloody know if they own the land or not? For ***** sake.
9. So we are back to waiting. They still say we will move on the 15^th....... 8 days time. Do I pack, don't I pack? How the hell should I know? Please send every possible good wish that we exchange the contracts this week before I totally lose the plot.
10. I am slowly going crazy here.
11. I want to do some sewing but the tension still isn't right on my sewing machine since I did those buttons.
12. I thought I would wrap some Christmas gifts but some of the things we made seem to have disappeared. I suspect maybe they were packed last time...........I have no idea where they might be. I am NOT unpacking.
13. It is freakin cold, did I say that already? I hate the cold.

OK, that is all I can think of right now but no doubt something will occur to make me even grumpier this afternoon. I am going to make coffee now, may even eat a cake. I saw some little custard tarts in the fridge this morning. Simon must have got them. That makes me grumpy too, he knows I am on a diet and yet he puts freakin custard tarts in the fridge.

Please do not feel obliged to comment. This is just my way of releasing the grumps.

• Coffee and custard tart went down well, think I shall now hibernate.
• Forgot to say...... one bit of lovely news........my sister and her husband Pete will be spending Christmas day with us. Of course we don't know where that will be yet............it had better be in the new house!
• Freakin is my word of the day..........don't question it.
