Ok so I have not been a good patient. I went out this afternoon with Simon to the allotment. The plan was that I would sit and supervise but then I spotted the blackberries and couldn’t resist. I had to go and pick some! I took it easy and just pottered along slowly. My leg was just a bit achy.
I have now removed the compression bandages and it is much, much better. The swelling has all gone and the back of my knee is vastly improved. There is still what looks like a blood blister there so I need to be careful of that but otherwise it seems ok. I shall see how I go tomorrow. If it swells I guess I’ll have to put the stupid bandage things back on.
One irritating thing is how itchy it is though and I have been scratching. The ant bite on my foot from last year has also flared up and is itching. It does that from time to time.
Tomorrow morning Simon has to be in school as the “A” level results will be out and as he is head of Key stage he has to be there to congratulate or console the pupils. I am going to try and do a bit of tidying up as my house looks like a bombsite. I will take it easy before you all nag! With any luck I might find some time to blog about our holiday and the wedding.
