3 lots of photo theme again!

This is going to be a quick post as I am in bed nursing a cold virus and I feel pretty grotty. We had a good time yesterday at my sisters and I think my Dad enjoyed his birthday and Christmas celebration.  There were a few of us missing; Saskia, John and Carly’s fiancĂ© Simon all had to work.  Charlotte (Josh’s girl friend) had a gazillion Uni assignments due and Coralie of course wasn’t well.  I will post photos sometime this week when I feel better.
Ok, I guess I had better post a photo of my real oven first.  Here it is warts and all and certainly not cleaned for the occasion as I am not up to any kind of house work today.  It seems that the photo themes have had lots of people doing quick clean ups!  LOL!
Yesterday’s theme was: 12. A photo of a friend. The first photo has to be of Simon who has been my best friend for the last 33 years.  Just like any other friend he does occasionally drive me up the wall!
This was taken yesterday at my sisters house.  You can see my dad and of course Ellie on my lap.
This photo is of my oldest friend Debbie who I have been friends with since we both started our secondary school education at Stevenage Girl’s School which no longer exists.  The photo was taken last year at mine and Simon's 30th wedding anniversary celebration.
I have lots of acquaintances but only a few good friends.  Another good friend is Eddy who was the care taker at Bretton Woods School where I used to work.  We have been friends for over 20 years.  I couldn’t come up with a photo of him though!  I do have them but my brain is just not working right now!
Today’s theme is: 13. Something that has special meaning to you.
It has to be the rings that Simon has given me.  There are 4 of them.  My engagement ring, which I was given on the 30th of September 1978.  My wedding ring, given to me 1st of December 1979. My eternity ring given to me on the 1st of December 1980 to celebrate the birth of our first child Samuel the night before.
Lastly but almost the most special,  my lovely ring that Simon gave me last year, again on the 1st of December to celebrate 30 years of marriage!
The photos of my rings are crap but it was quite hard trying to take them and you know....I don't feel well!
The coming week’s themes starting with tomorrow are:
14. A lucky charm.
15. Something red.
16. Hands.
17.  Feet.
18. Your Christmas tree
19. Something white.
20. Your Christmas decorations.
Hopefully I will feel better in a day or 2 and will be joining in on a daily basis.  Have fun with them.
