Just got time to do the daily photo thingamy before I have to go and have a bath and get ready for Samuels Birthday meal tonight. Today’s challenge is: 28. Your parents.
My parents were married in 1953 in Forest Gate, London. They have been married for nearly 58 years. As you know Mum has late stage Alzheimer’s and is currently in a long stay hospital ward. She has been gone from my Dad for nearly 4 years. He will never come to terms with it. He is still devoted to her and visits every day.
This next photo was taken in the back garden of my Dads parents’ house in 1951. Dad would have been 25 and Mum 22.
The next one was in September of 1951 and was taken on a trip to Great Yarmouth. It looks cold.
Only 2 more challenges to go for November and they are: 29. A teddy bear. And 30. Your favourite kitchen utensil. I have just posted the list for December. I hope there are some things on there that you will like and enjoy doing. It has quite a Christmas feel especially going towards the big day!
