Christmas day photos

Despite only having 2 children at home, our Christmas day still begun at 8am when Verity and Josh arrived in our bedroom with coffee and biscuits. Although I had said no more stocking as everyone is too old; I ended up doing one each for Josh and Verity, as they were the only 2 that were going to go to bed at our house and wake up there on Christmas morning. I couldn't bare the thought of not doing the whole stocking thing in our bedroom!! I only did small stockings but I think they were both pleased with them.

Sam and Lisa arrived at 10am with Ellie. It was such a delight to have a little one around again. Next year will be even better as she becomes more aware and of course she will have her first cousin to share it with. She was such a good girl as it must have been very tiring and over whelming for her. As all little ones do, I think she liked the wrapping paper as much as the presents.

Sam and Lisa left with Ellie at lunch time to go and spend the rest of the day with Lisa's family. We had a quiet afternoon and even watched some TV. I couldn't possibly miss Eastenders. We had dinner very late as the turkey didn't get put in the oven until much later than usual.
Grandad and Ellie
Saskia joined us for the evening along with Joshua's girlfriend Charlotte. We had more presents and then rounded the day off playing a board game called. Chaos. Saskia got this as a family present and it proved to be a good choice. It is a sort of question game but you have to draw the answer, or act it out, or hum, or sometimes even mould it from clay!! It was very funny. All in all we had a great time.
