Daily photo theme 7

Well it has taken me all day to try and come up with something for today’s daily photo theme which is: 7. Something purple.

Who would have guessed that it would be so hard? When I was a teenager it would have been easy....a photo of my bedroom!  Yes, I had a purple bedroom in honour of my hero Donny Osmond; it was his favourite colour therefore mine too.  I was going to marry him you know.........oh yes!  Then he met his wife and I met Simon and I thought what the heck may as well go for this one then!  LOL!  You all know I was a teeny bopper.

I told Chris this morning that maybe I would just post a video of Donny in his favourite purple cap singing Puppy Love.  Unfortunately (yes, I know you are all disappointed) I could find lots of Puppy Love but not one where he is wearing the aforementioned purple head gear.

So I had to go with plan B which meant changing my clothes.  So I am now wearing the only purple thing I own, a long sleeved top with matching necklace from good old Marks and Sparks.  I don’t know why I don’t have morepurple actually as I do quite like it.  It kind of mixes blue and pink my favourite colours.

Okay, okay stop shouting, I do know you need blue and red to make purple! Anyway here is my purple photo.  If I was clever I could have made my hair purple too like Mickey did but I couldn’t be bothered with the effort!  I am having quite a lethargic day.

These first 2 were taken with my web cam so they are not very good (low resolution) actually you can’t see my wrinkles so they are good!

These 2 were taken with my bloggie camera but are still not good as it is hard to take yourself!  The one on the right shows more of my purple top rather than my face.  Now that’s a good one!

Now because I know you will all be sad at not seeing Donny I have found this you tube video for you.  He is singingDeep Purple so it is appropriate!  LOL.  His pesky sister is singing too which is a bit unfortunate but hey they are wearing purple!

OOP's no they are not as this is a different video....no moving images.  Oh well!

Tomorrow’s theme is: 8. The inside of your wardrobe.  I have already taken some shots for that so maybe I will get them up early tomorrow.
