Entry for 03 March 2008

Another day gone by and another day in school survived!! Simon is still at home with his vertigo, but hopefully getting better, he has gone to his barn tonight. This morning saw me chasing around still trying to get that washing and ironing finished. The friend I was doing some for, will hopefully collect it tomorrow. I also managed to get the hoovering done and the kitchen and bathroom before leaving for school.

The exam that I was invigilating was a nice easy one, so it went OK. I was able to sit and write a couple of lists. I am in at half past three tomorrow to set up for Wednesday. After I finished today, Saskia took me out for a late lunch. It was her Mothers Day present to me. We went to the Paul Pry which is where she does waitressing a couple of evenings a week. It was very nice and good to have a nice long gossip!

She works in the pub as well as in school as she needs the extra money since she got her own flat last October. She was telling me over lunch that she is hoping to get a dancing job abroad for the summer holidays. She is going to contact some of the Dance Company's that she has performed with previously.

Since I got home I have had a cup of coffee and made a couple of phone calls and checked my emails. I am now on my second coffee! I need the caffeine! One of the emails was to inform me that I have won a pair of silver and turquoise earrings in an Internet competition0n at Zoo Jewellery.

They look very nice. It was a simple prize draw and they apparently had 11,000 entries. See it just shows, "you have to be in it to win it"! I said that I was due to win! That's two prizes in a week. The big one is on it's way..... I CAN FEEL IT!

I haven't got to cook dinner today as I had such a late lunch with Saskia. Simon also had a very late, cooked lunch so he doesn't need anything. Josh can get himself something. I am going to try and get a bit more of the ironing done. Then I am going to do a bit more of my embroidery and then watch Eastenders. After that I am going to go out for a drink with a friend of mine, Ed who is off to Thailand for a month on Thursday. Lucky him! That reminds me, we really should decide if we are going to go away for Easter and if so where we are going!
