Well, I have been busy, busy, busy today! I needed to catch up on some jobs as I get a bit behind when I work in school. I have mostly been doing half an hours work, then half an hour me time. I have done washing, ironing, hoovering, tidying, etc, etc, etc,
I have also read a bit of my book while I had some lunch and earlier, I did a few doggie blogs. I have also been copying some of my old stuff to Multiply, which is definitely the best alternative site for 360 that I have found. If you want to take a look it's here: Jilly.
I am just having my afternoon coffee, so getting in another quick blog and catching up on my messages, comments and emails. I have had some old ones turn up from Yahoo! I also had one message from a very strange person, a person who obviously can't read. I am posting it here in full for you entertainment!
Hello, I hope you are fine..? I've read through your profile and i'm very impressed with it's quality and deeply touched with the glamour and charm of your visage. Could you kindly tell me more about yourself, famil y background, dominant culture, attitude to the ups and downs of life, past and present relationships, future plans, etc.I want to tell you that, all that matters alot in life in every relationship is trust, kindness ,loving, caring ,honest, unders tanding, selfco ntrol, patience ,tolerance, easy going and truthfullness. Now you can see why I said this person can't read!!! If he could he would already know that I am happily married and he would also have the answers to his other questions too. Yahoo, it is time to do something about these Sad weirdo's. I am sick of them. GO AWAY!
Have you ever thought about how clean your handbag is? A friend of mine has posted a blog about the health hazards which we call our handbags. Think about it. Where do you put yours?? On the floor of the car, on the floor in the public loos, in a shopping trolley, on the ground? We put our handbags down in all sorts of locations and then where do we put them in our homes? On your bed, or maybe the table, or even the kitchen counter where you prepare your food? It's a yukky thought. Apparently they have done tests on women's handbags and they contain an awful lot of bacteria. Makes you think doesn't it. I won't be putting mine on the table anymore.
Right, I need to go downstairs now as I have some cakes in the oven and I can smell them. The first 2 batches, have not turned out well. I used a new recipe and I should have known something would go wrong. It made a kind of batter, in fact it was so runny I was able to pour it into the cake cases rather than dolloping it in as usual. I don't know what has gone wrong. I did have my glasses on when I read the recipe and I have rechecked that I got the ingredients right. Never mind, no doubt they will still get eaten.
This evening we are going over to Sam and Lisa's house to see them and little Ellie. We are going as soon as Simon gets home from school so that Ellie will still be awake. She is 21 weeks old now. Another couple of days and she will be 5 whole months!!! I can't quite believe that, it's gone so fast. Speaking of school, has just reminded me. Joshua has just left his job at Hotpoint. He was just too bored there. He starts back in his old job of learning support assistant next week. He will obviously be in the new Voyager school with the rest of us. It's getting to be like a family business, with 4 of us there again.
