Well today has been a relatively nice day weather wise. We have actually had some sun! So, although they say it will rain again tomorrow, I decided to take off my rain coat any way and go for a nice summery outfit. I have also changed my background to reflect the change of weather.
Actually, I am so fed up with all the talk of the weather. I know I'm British and it's what we all talk about but there are limits. So unless it is to say how lovely it is, I am not going to mention it any more.
We have yet to finish the garden as we couldn't get the turf today. Simon is going to collect it on Tuesday. He did get the preparation done this morning though. Other than that we haven't got much done. Coralie was here this morning and we sat watching Simon (supervising). Then I did some stuff on the computer, mainly setting up a new bank account.
I have discovered that certain banks actually pay interest on current accounts! Our old bank was paying 0.1%. The new bank pays 6%. A big difference. I just hope the transition goes smoothly and we don't end up with half our bills not being paid!
In a little while we are going with Saskia over to Sam and Lisa's house to see them and little Ellie. We are going to pick up fish and chips on the way.
Joshua has left this afternoon for Majorca and Charlotte has also gone to spend a week with her aunt and uncle, so we are down to just three of us. Josh has promised to phone us when he arrives and I am determined not to worry about him. He is a good lad, so hopefully all will be well.
Right time to go , fish and chips are calling.
