Yes, I am still here!!! I have had a lot of messages and comments asking if I am OK. Well, I am fine but I have been really busy!!
It all began with my sisters Wedding, which was over a week ago now, Saturday the 5th of May to be precise. Then as you all know, on Monday the 7th of May, my first Grand child was born; our beautiful little Ellie. Since then I have been working every single day in school as the exam season is now well under way. This weekend my Dad was here too, just over night so that he could visit his first Great Grand daughter. It has been very, very busy!!!
Unfortunately, I have had little time to blog and even less time to visit everyone else's pages. I will try to catch up soon. Thank you all, for all your kind comments in my absence.
My sisters Wedding to Peter Wright, took place on the 5th of May at Biggleswade registry office. It was quite low key but still lovely. My Dad came to the main Wedding but not to the dinner or party afterwards. He was very emotional as it was the first major event for him without my Mum. I know that he was pleased that he came, but he did get in quite a state. The party afterwards was great and all of my family were there except Verity, who couldn't attend as her final dissertation was due in. Even Sam and Lisa were there despite the fact that little Ellie was nine days over due.

The Sunday was a quiet day and then of course we had the excitement of Ellie's birth on bank holiday Monday. The following day was the start of the exams and so I was in school. It has been a busy week as we have had year 7 and 8 option and progress exams as well as the first GCSE's and A levels.

The years 7 and 8 have not been particularly well behaved and we have had quite a lot of problems so my stress levels have been rising! On Friday, Simon went up to Stevenge to collect my Dad and he was here just over night. We took him to see Ellie on Friday night and again on Saturday morning. He was so delighted to have seen her, but again, he was a bit emotional as it was something else that he couldn't share with Mum.
Saturday lunch time, I took him back home and we both went together to see Mum. She was not too good and didn't really seem to know us at all. I took some photo's of Ellie in to show her but she really didn't know who or what the pictures were of. I don't think she knew it was a baby and certainly not what that baby is to her. It is just so sad.

I took Dad home afterwards and then came on home to Peterborough. Sunday was mainly spent catching up on washing and ironing, of which I had loads. I get very behind when I'm working like this and I get quite stressed about it. Because most of the time I don't work, I have quite set routines in the house and I like everything to be done.
Today was another full day in school, invigilating more of the year 7 and 8 exams. They will be finished on Friday. The rest of the week is taken up with GCSE exams. I already feel really tired and stressed! This week is slightly easier than last though as tomorrow and Wednesday are just mornings and Friday is just the afternoon. Thursday is all day.
Wednesday is Simon's birthday and everyone is coming to dinner which Coralie is going to cook, so at least I don't have to worry about that. It would be nice to find the time to go out a buy him a card and present. Maybe tomorrow after I finish in school.
Well I think that's my update done and it's time that I was in bed! I will post some more photos of my sisters Wedding soon and I will really try to catch up with everyone.
