A quick blog this morning while I have my coffee before going into school. I am still feeling very tired and a bit grotty, but fortunately, I don't seem to have gone down with anything nasty. I am still taking mega doses of vitamin C and also ecchinacea.
I don't think the weather is helping either as it is very gloomy. It's not too cold but it is wet, wet, wet! Seems that the summer floods that were a feature for some parts of the UK, are back again. Roll on summer!
The invigilating is going OK, I only had 5 students yesterday so I was able to write a "to do" list! Haven't been able to cross anything much off it yet, except a couple of phone calls. I have 20 children this afternoon, so I won't be able to add anything to my list!
Right, need to go and get organised and find my umbrella. I go to school in the car but I will be drenched walking through the car park. That's assuming I can find a space!! Yesterday I drove around for ages and there were cars all over the place. I ended up parking in the motor cycle bit. The school only has enough parking for about two thirds of the staff!!
Remember that a shool will also have visitors as well as staff and you realise something is not quite right!! Who dreams up these things? The road outside the school has double yellow lines so you would need to go down one of the residential side streets to try and find somewhere, but they are always pretty full. It would be a very long walk back too!
