Well it's been a busy day today. This morning I did piles and piles of washing and ironing, with a quick coffee break when I did my earlier blog. Simon, of course was no where to be seen as he was at a car show this morning. He did get back in time for me to go to the hairdressers though.
I have had my highlights done and a bit of a trim. It looks quite nice. I am a bit worried though as the first thing James asked me was have I been particularly stressed in the last 2 months since I saw him. I thought at first he was joking, but apparently the stress that I have been under is showing itself in my hair.
James said that in places it has become quite thin and I must be careful to lower my stress levels or I could well be a candidate for alopecia. Great news ....... on top of everything else I could be going bald! He told me to be very careful with my hair and to treat it very gently. He said scalp massage may help.
I jokingly said that at least I would be able to save a fortune if all my hair drops out. James, bless him agreed but said I would look a bit strange. He did offer to style my wig for me though!! He is a lovely boy and always does my hair really well.
After he had finished I went and had my eye brows plucked as they were getting quite wild. The trouble is that I can no longer see them to pluck without my glasses on; and of course with glasses on you can't get to them! Another thing that I shall have to start paying out for.
This evening I have been collecting up all the bits and pieces that we need for our holiday and putting them all in the spare room. Tomorrow I shall pack and then it's up, up and away on Monday. Hopefully all will be well while we are away this time. As we have just given Saskia the money to pay for the deposit on the flat she is moving to, I don't think she would be stupid enough to cause any problems.
Anyway, did everyone notice that I have gone into holiday mode already? I have got a really nice new back ground, where I can just picture myself sitting in the sun on one of those loungers .... then going for a swim under that water fall. Bliss. I am already in my bikini too! I only wish that I really looked as good as that Jilly in my avatar picture!
Well as I have a busy day ahead tomorrow before we can finally get off; I think I should probably go to bed now. I will catch up with everyone when I get back. Stay safe and well.
