Entry for 21 May 2007 (copy)

Well, I have had a few busy days with little time for blogging, but I think I caught up with most of you. On Saturday, Simon did some more in the garden, while I caught up with paper work and tided our bedroom. The garden is beginning to progress although at the moment it looks a total tip and it's hard to imagine what it will be like............hopefully soon!
On Sunday, I got caught up on my house work and Simon went to his barn to try and sort out a problem with our car. It has been running very rough and not always starting first time. Hopefully it is now sorted although it wasn't that great today. It seems like it's about to stall every time you pull up at traffic lights or roundabouts.
We didn't get off to a great start yesterday either as the dogs managed to find a field that had just been covered in fertiliser........... chicken "poo" fertiliser!! Simon phoned to say can you get buckets of water and shampoo ready! We used to stand them in the bath on these occasions but since we had the bath room redone that's no longer an option. So washing them down in the garden is all we can do. They DO NOT LIKE IT!!!
It took quite a while with Simon getting quite hot and bothered. To cut a long story short, they were eventually clean but the smell lingered most of the day. In fact when they went out this morning it was raining and that seemed to reactivate the aroma! The joys of owning dogs.
Today has been relatively easy as I was only in school this afternoon. I had just 2 students doing Portuguese for an hour. This morning I did some washing, ironing and hoovering and caught up with some belated blogging, namely the Friday 5 and Sunday photo word.
Tonight, I have watched Eastenders and made my usual half dozen phone calls. Wendy, if you are reading this, I will get round to returning your call soon! I was going to do it tonight but I have a headache and will probably go to bed shortly.
Tomorrow, I am in school again in the afternoon but it will be a long session as I have 19 students sitting 3 exams all one after the other. Don't envy them that!
