I have woken up with Monday morning feeling!! I didn't sleep well and I have loads to do today. I need to catch up on all the stuff that didn't get done over the weekend. So far, I have put away some clothes and cleaned the kitchen. I don't seem to be able to get going.
Maybe it's not just Monday morning feeling, maybe it's "autumn" feeling too! The weather here today is warmish and there shouldn't be any rain so that's good, but we are over half way through September and that's not good because it means the cold weather is on it's way. I don't like the cold.
I shall try my "half hour" system today as that usually ensures that lots get done and I get some"me" time. I have got a long day as Simon won't be home until about ten tonight. He has a meeting in school until 6pm and then he is going to the regional college where he is starting some kind of evening course in welding. It is every Monday 6.30-9.30pm. I think he is going to get himself fish and chips on route to the college. At least we can just have a quick easy dinner too.
Yesterday evening, I spent a while trying to make some changes to my blog. I tried several really nice themes but gave up on them in the end as they all did things I didn't like. Some made my page go really wide, so you have to scroll from side to side. I hate that, it's really annoying, I like everything to be visible in front of me. Other themes looked fine initially, but when I scrolled through my blog entries, I found lots of photos missing. I don't know why.
If any of you have ides for great themes that actually work ok, then please let me know where you found them. My friend Bobbie has a really lovely one. While I was messing around, I took a look at who has been visiting my page....you know you see the little photos at the bottom of your page. Unfortunately, I have been visited by some using the name Hannoon. He has used an obscene photo.
I have blocked him, so that he can no longer see my content. I have not found a way of getting that photo taken off from the bottom of my page yet. I apologise for that. I think I may just have to wait until I have had a few more visitors and it will disappear into history. I also don't know how to report someone to Multiply. Any ideas?? While I am asking for advice, does anybody who has gone "Premium" know if you can use java script in the right hand rail? Or in the welcome box, with "Premium". I am still considering it.
Back on the subject of dodgy people, I have had one or two invites from people who have appeared to be "normal" at first glance, but on further investigation have proved to be very far from normal! I haven't added them. Thankfully, on here, I only occasionally get an invite, not like the hundreds I got at Yahoo.
However, I have decided that due to all the weirdos out there, I will not be accepting any invites unless they come via an existing friend who can vouch for them. I know everyone on my list and know that their friends are not "dodgy". So, please don't send me any invites. I will not even look at them unless you are recommended by someone already on my list. I rarely accept any new ones anyway as I don't have the time.
Right, that's me done for now. I have finished my coffee and it is time now for half an hours worth of jobs. The bathroom is first!
