The 15th of October! That means we are half way through the month already! I had better do another Christmas countdown soon!
I am having an easy day so far. I got well ahead of myself yesterday so I don't have too many chores today. Just the one load of washing which is on now and some hoovering. I'll put the washing in the tumble drier when I go downstairs as it is raining outside. Well it wouldn't be raining inside would it!
Actually it is a fairly miserable day here; chilly and grey with that horrid drizzly kind of rain. If it is going to rain, I prefer it to do it properly and absolutely pour down. The drizzle makes you just as wet. I hope it stops soon as I am going to walk up to Sainsburys to get some more mangoes so I can do the chicken and mango dish again. I think I'll do it when Simon walks the dogs so there is no risk of Alfie or anyone else stealing it!
I turned Alfie PINK as punishment for yesterday. That'll teach him!
Simon will be in about 5 tonight which is early for him. He is going to his barn tonight as he didn't get there last night because he was too tired. Saskia is staying over in Leicester with her new Uni friends so I shall have a nice quiet evening with plenty of time for whatever... hopefully some sewing tonight!
Tomorrow is the entry day for the moon walk and before then we have to think of a team name for ourselves. This is proving difficult. If you don't know about the moon walk, I will tell all tomorrow or you can look in my blog archives.
On friday I am probably going to go and stay in Southampton with Verity for a few days but I need to sort out with Simon first and work out how I am going to get there. Probably on the coach as I don't want to have to travel through London.
Time to go now and brave the rain so I can get my mangoes.
