The end of another week! What have I been up to since Wednesday? Well we went to the cinema with Saskia on Wednesday evening to see the film " You don't mess with the Zohan". We all enjoyed it. It is totally stupid but very funny.
Yesterday I went to Stevenage to see my Dad and to visit my Mum. It wasn't the best visit. I got caught in 2 lots of road works before I even left Peterborough. It took me 40 minutes to reach the A1. I can normally get to my Dads house in about one and a quarter hours, yesterday it took 2 hours!
My Mum wasn't at her best either. She seemed very tired. My Dad kept trying to feed her, which she clearly didn't want. She got quite agitated. She eats very little and has recently started to chew the same mouthful over and over without swallowing. This is something that sometimes happens with late stage Alzheimer's. I have seen others doing it. Dad refuses to understand. I know we have to try and coax her to eat but I wish he wouldn't keep on trying to push food at her all the time. I think we have to draw a line if she really isn't going to eat that day.
Today, I have been trying to catch up with the jobs that I didn't do yesterday. I have done some washing and ironing and cleaned the kitchen including cleaning out a couple of cupboards. I have the shelves in some of my units lined and they all needed redoing. I am just having a coffee break and then I am going to hoover.
While I have been drinking my coffee, I have been browsing around and came across the caffeine test. I obviously need a few more cups as I only scored at level 2! There are 9 levels as follows: 1. Slight buzz 2. Chipper and perky 3. Ideal work habits 4. Jittery, easily excitable 5. Over-caffeinated 6. Spastic, nervous 7. "Cracked out", paranoid 8. Delusions of God hood 9. Near death!! I quite fancy level 4 without the jitters!
This website had some other time wasters which I couldn't resist!

I need to get myself in action as I am going out this afternoon. Coralie and I are taking Evan for his first swim! I really hope he likes it. I am going to take my camera to see if I can get some photos. Luckily, Josh has said he will drive me into town so that will give me an extra hour. I had better get on with that hoovering now.
