This list blog has developed out of a comment that my cousin Wendy made about doing a 100 things in a day. I said I didn't believe it........and so she did a list which came to 37 before she got bored. It was an impressive list and involved a great deal of mulit tasking which was part of what Wendy was referring to in the first place.
My list also includes lots of multi tasking. EG, I can talk on the phone, drink coffee and let the dogs out all at the same time. Impressed? Anyway, you know me, I had to do my own list, which I am now posting. It has a couple of foot notes. Oh yeah just remembered, I can talk on the phone, drink wine and take a bath all at once to!
1. Ate breakfast.
2. Washed.
3. Cleaned teeth.
4. Brushed hair and put it up with a clip thing.
5. Carried washing downstairs.
6. Let dogs out.
7. Unloaded dishwasher.
8. Put everything away.
8. Loaded dish washer with breakfast stuff.
9. Wiped down all work surfaces.
10. Tidied up kitchen.
11. Made 3 dozen fairy cakes for Simons school; his tutor group are selling cakes tomorrow and Friday in aid of Children in need.
12. Washed up as I went.
13. Let dogs out.
14 Put a load of washing on.
15. Opened post.
16. Put post in recycle bin.
17. Did 2 lots of ironing.
18. Hung shirts up.
19. Put washing away.
20. Wrapped up 10 Christmas presents.
21. Stashed presents in wardrobe in Verity’s room.
22. Unloaded washing machine.
23. Put another load of washing on.
24. Put stuff in tumble drier.
25. Opened door to postman, got parcel.
26. Unwrapped parcel. 2 memory sticks.
27. Made coffee.
28. Checked emails.
29. Read lots of blogs.
30. Wrote out a dozen Christmas cards for friends and relatives abroad.
31. Wrote out cheque for Pat and put in a card.
32. Wrapped up some more Christmas presents.
33. Entered “Take a break” competitions online.
34. Let dogs out.
35. Entered a few more competitions online.
36. Joined BBC mailing list for free tickets to shows.
37. More stuff put in recycling bin.
38. Walked to shops.
39. Queued in post office.
40. Chatted to Jan who I used to work with.
41. Went in Boots, got 3 more Christmas presents on 3 for 2 offers.
42. Posted letters.
43. Went in Sainsbury’s got lard, turnip and caster sugar. Also got birthday cards for November and December Birthday people.
44. Walked home.
45. Stopped to speak to Sonia, who recently lost her husband. (FN2)
46. Got in, let dogs out.
47. Made coffee.
48. Unloaded washing machine.
49. Loaded tumble drier.
50. Made 41 chocolate and cherry cookies for Simon’s school. (See number 11)
51. Heated up yesterday left over soup.
52. Had soup for lunch.
53. Made some icing.
54. Iced 3 dozen fairy cakes.
55. Loaded dish washer.
56. Decorated 3 dozen fairy cakes.
57. Washed up as I went.
58. Tided up kitchen.
59. Made coffee.
60. Let dogs out and dead headed some flowers.
61. Did the last of the ironing.
62. Packed cakes and cookies into boxes.
63. Cleaned bathroom including toilet.
64. Hoovered right through.
65. Made some coffee.
66. Let dogs out.
67. Chatted to Saskia.
68. Entered some more online competitions.
69. Checked emails.
70. Answered 7 emails and forwarded a couple.
71. Made cartoon picture of Alfie.
72. Emailed picture of Alfie to Simon.

FOOT NOTES.
1. What are we like compiling lists of our day? It was fun though and good to see just how much I do.
2. I can't believe that I used the expression "lost her husband". I hate that expression, It sounds like you have accidentally mislaid him! Why don't we just say her husband died? I still don't know why I used that word.
3. I never play bingo normally but I get a free £10 credit each year in November from my competition club, so I use it until it's gone and that’s my lot till next year. I play in the 5p games to make it last longer. This afternoon I was 3 numbers away from winning £221! Shame.
4. Yes, I do let the dogs in as well as let them out, so if I let them out 7 times, I must have let them in 7 times, which increases my list total by 7! Total 107!!! Once Simon is in he generally lets dog in and out.
