Time to do a catch up on the daily photo theme.  It has been a busy weekend and I have got behind. 

Saturday’s theme was: 12.   Something cold. (Suggested by Vicki and Jenny)

This photo was taken in February 2003.  It is a very strange looking snowman made in our back garden by Saskia and her then boyfriend Raz.  It was very cold.

Sunday’s theme was: 13.   Something hot. (Suggested by Vicki and Jenny).  For this I am going to show you a couple of holiday photos taken in June 2005 on a holiday to Ibiza with my sister.  It was a lovely holiday and very hot.  I love the Spanish islands.  I need to go again….SOON!

Today’s theme is: 14.   Something to do with the British Commonwealth (Today is Commonwealth Day).  If you want to know about the Commonwealth then check out this link.  On their website it says the following:Commonwealth Day is an opportunity to promote understanding on global issues, international co-operation and the work of the Commonwealth’s organisations, which aim to improve the lives of its citizens.

It is celebrated on the second Monday in March every year.

The theme for Commonwealth Day 2011 is “Women as agents of change”

This is a poster of the flags of all the commonwealth nations.
