Time to do my first “photo a day challenge” for November but before I do, I am issuing an apology to Lady Callie. In my previous blog about the photo challenge I had compared it to “Click n Share” which many of us took part in a little while ago. Unfortunately the way I worded it came over as putting “C&S” in a negative light. That was never my intention as, like all of you, I really liked C&S. I know Lady Callie aka Linda put in a great deal of hard work to make it successful. I am so sorry to have unintentially caused upset and offence. Linda has already accepted my apology.
Ok, the first challenge, which I know lots of you have already got in and done before me, is: 1. Your front door. (Main entrance to your house)
I live in a large 3 storey terraced house which fronts on to a pedestrianised area. To reach the road you walk under what we call the archway. It is actually a flat adjoining 2 houses! The front of my house is ugly as it has only 5 small windows. The kitchen, the toilet, the bathroom, the living room and a landing window. The door was replaced a while ago with a new UPVC one. It is functional and secure (hopefully!) It is not the door that I would choose if money had not been part of the decision!
Tomorrows challenge is: 2. The view from the front of your house through a front window. I hope lots of people will join in again. Pam and Nancy were here today and also Mickey, Jenny and Chris. If you don’t know each other go take a look at their front doors! LOL. Mickey’s is interesting! Chris thinks it is something to do with that northern beer he drinks!
