Rules (copy)

I know, I know. I have posted this a million times before. I was hoping tonight to get on with my photos so that I could do some holiday blogs. BUT, instead I have got bogged down in trying to catch up with messages, comments and invites. I have had hundreds.

You all know what I think because I have posted it before, so I won't say it all over again. Instead I am just going to tell you my new rule. I will be deleting all friends invites that are just standard format. That's right deleting them without even looking at them as I do for the ones with no photos.

Hi! I'd like to keep in touch on Yahoo! 360. Would you add me to your Friends list so we can stay connected?

Listen, if you want me to look at your invite that alone possibly accept it then you need to make it stand out from the crowd. You need to tell me why you want to be my friend, what is it you like about my blog? What do you think we may have in common?

I do realise that this takes a little bit of effort on your part and is not as easy as just clicking with your mouse to send the standard invite. Frankly, if you can't be bothered to put in a bit of effort to address me personally, well I already know that we have nothing in common. Do you see where I am coming from?

Just because you have left me a few comments or sent me 10 million messages does not mean that I am obliged to accept you as a friend. I only have limited time so I am choosy about who I spend it with. That's the bottom line. So no personal message and I will just be deleting you immediately. That's my new rule.
