The daily photo theme x 3

Oh dear, I have been busy again and not got around to the daily photo theme. So I am going to have to do 3 at once!  I have managed to catch up with all of your entries and they have been really good.  It’s quite amazing how we all see and interpret things differently.  Some areas of our lives are like mirror images and other areas are almost so far removed we can’t imagine.  Sunshine in December comes to mind!  LOL. I wish.
We have managed to finally get rid of the small amount of snow that we had here although it is still very cold. Anyway..... Friday’s photo theme was: 3. A doll.
This is the only doll that I can really say that I own.  We do have another baby doll that belonged to one of my girls and Ellie and Evan play with her now.  This doll is an ornamental one rather than a plaything.  I got her some years back in a market in Budapest, Hungry.  They sell a lot of very similar ones there.
In her back view you can see that her ribbon is in the colours of the Hungarian flag.
Yesterday’s theme was: 4. Today’s weather.
As I said earlier we have got rid of the snow now except a couple of tiny patches. It is very wet out.  The temperature is hovering around freezing. These were taken from my bedroom window.
That brings me on to today’s theme which is: 5. A close up of your eyes.  It’s quite hard to take photos in close up of your own eyes!  Especially if you really need your glasses on to see what you are doing!  I’m not telling you how many botched photos I took before I got anything half way reasonable. Actually, I haven’t got anything half way reasonable at all.  They are all really scary looking!  Nor will I tell you how many photos I now have of the wrinkles on my fore head!
Ok here we go. I have taken the first ones with no makeup and they looked so gross that I thought I would slap some on to see if I could improve things. I always think that I scrub up ok when I am wearing makeup but oh my goodness, not in close up!  I can only assume that Simon’s eyesight is worse than he lets on as he always tells me I look good when I have my make up on!
I hadn’t realised how droopy my eye lids are.  I know I have black circles which some days are so bad I look like someone has punched me in the face! Maybe it is as well that as we get older our eyesight deteriorates!
These photos are even more bizarre as I only had time to do one eye!  It does serve to show you the comparison though!  Simon is out at the moment he has gone to collect some wood for the allotment.  I am wondering (with his deteriorating eyesight) just how long it will take him to notice that I have one made up eye and one bare eye!  I will let you know!
Ok, I’m out of here things to do and all that.  The themes for the coming week are:
6.  Your sisters or brothers.
7. Something purple.
8. The inside of your wardrobe.
9. What you want for Christmas?
10. Today’s breakfast.
11. Your oven.
12. A photo of a friend.
Have fun with them.
