The Friday Five for July 13, 2007 (copy)

We have such a diverse group of people playing The Friday Five, I thought it might be fun to learn a bit more about their locations.
'Tis the Season:

1. Is it warm or cold in July where you live? Well it should be just about at it's hottest in the UK. Having said that , so far we are having a pretty rubbish summer with lots of rain and chilly days. Today is grey and cool. No sun.
2. What is your favourite thing about this time of year? What is your least favourite? Usually, the hot sunny weather is my favourite along with all the summer flowers. My least favourite are all the bugs, especially ants.
3. What food and drink says "July" to you? Why? Barbecue food and Ribena. We have the occasional barbecue in the summer only and my family drink gallons of long cold Ribenas.
4. What is your favourite activity this time of year? Sun bathing with a good book to read!!!
5. A friend from another country is visiting you during July. They know nothing about your area. What cautions do you give them? (pack warm, bring sunscreen, etc). Ha! Sun cream, that's a joke with our weather at the moment. Normally, I would suggest a cardigan for the evening. At the moment, I would suggest a water proof jacket, umbrella and wellies.
