Ellie and Grandad
A quick entry to start today! I am catching up on housework using my half hour system. The house is messy after having my little whirl wind Ellie here yesterday! Toys are everywhere! I had a lovely time with her and she was very, very good.
Coralie came over with Evan too and he was a happy gurgley boy....until Mummy left to go to the dentist! He is too little yet to miss her, but it was uncanny how he started to cry as soon as she got out of the door! I discovered that I can't manage the 2 of them together! Ellie didn't understand that I couldn't pick her up while I was comforting Evan. She didn't like sharing Nanny!
It was very difficult! To cut a long story short, Ellie fell down three stairs as we were going down and I couldn't grab her quick enough because I was holding Evan. Fortunately she didn't hurt herself but it made me realise that while they are tiny, I am best looking after them one at a time when I am on my own. I don't want any accidents. So from now on it will have to be first come first served as to who gets Nanny!
I am on a half hour break at the moment, having my coffee. I have cleaned the kitchen, got some washing on and done some ironing. I have boiled up a lamb bone and rice for the dogs, cooked some potatoes for potato salad and made some blueberry muffins, so I'm doing ok.
Next job is the bathroom and the hoovering, but first I'll need to put those toys away! Hopefully later in my spare half hours, I am going to do some competition entries and a bit of sewing. Best move myself!
