Tuesday Thirteen (copy)

It's Tuesday thirteen time again and this weeks theme is thirteen places that I have visited in England.
1. Weston Super Mare. A sea side town, where we had a couple of holidays when I was a child.
2. Lymington. A small town in the New Forest. This is the first place that Simon and I went to, many years ago for a weekend.
3. London. Our capital city. I have visited London many, many times and am still not sure that I like it!!
4. Blackpool. The furthest north that I have ever been in England. We had a holiday there one year when our children were small.
5. Southampton. This is where Verity is at University.
6. Newquay. This is a sea side town in Cornwall and I have been 4 times and I love it.
7. Bath. Simon and I went here once for a day trip.
8. York. We visited here just once for a long weekend.
9. Cambridge. Our County town and home to the Universities. A beautiful, historic city with good shopping. Just don't try to park your car!!
10. Lincoln. A lovely cathedral city which we have visited several times in search of Simon's ancestors.
11. Norwich. Simon and I have visited here a few times for long weekends and also to visit the county archives in search of yet more ancestors.
12. Great Yarmouth. I had holidays here as a child, but we have also visited many times since.
13. Torquay. Another place that we had holidays when I was a child. Also the place that we would sometimes drive to late at night to try and calm Samuel and get him to go to sleep!
