Wednesday already which means another week is half gone. That must mean there is only 51 days left to Christmas!!!! I had to do that just to wind you all up! I must begin to get organised. Usually by this stage I have got a few presents organised but this year so far none!
I have been doing all the normal house work this morning. I am nearly done. Just have the kitchen floor left to mop. I am going to do some family history research this afternoon. I haven’t done any in a while. There are some records that I want to look at which only seem to be available through ancestry.com. I am a bit dubious about them. I think I remember hearing bad press regarding cancelling your account. They were continuing to take money long after accounts had been closed and stuff like that. Anyone else heard that? Anyone else use them? They offer a 14 day free trial but you have to give your bank details to get it and then cancel within 14 days. Hmmmm not sure.
Ohhhh....nice smell wafting up the stairs from my kitchen. I am making a cheddar and pepper loaf in my bread maker. Never done that before. I usually just do bog standard white or whole grain loaves. I do a good foccacia with garlic and rosemary but that’s by hand not in the machine.
We are having a beef and veg soup for dinner tonight made from yesterdays left over stew. I was going to make crusty rolls to go with it but then I spotted the recipe for the cheddar and pepper loaf and it sounded good so.............................we shall see. It is smelling good.
Ok...it looks good too! No, on reflection it looks like a roast chicken! Despite putting in twice the amount of cheese it isn't very cheesy....tastes good though
We are still waiting for our new grandbaby! I think Lisa and Little Ellie are getting pretty fed up now. She is 3 days overdue. I think it is going to be tomorrow. We shall see. I am looking after Evan and Flynn tomorrow so it’s bound to happen then! Sods law!

I forgot to post this! It’s nearly half past 5 now so I am about to go start warming that soup. I never got around to my family history research as I have been reading blogs. A friend of Patty’s who did the photo challenge today has some interesting stuff and the time just flew by. Of course I have also been checking out all your entries too. It seems that there is great confusion regarding the date today..........I blame Mickey! It was nothing to do with me!!
PS Those Northerners have sent us all their rain now too!
