I am having a cooking day!!!! I have already done all my hovering so I am way ahead of myself today. I had a nice day yesterday. I unpacked my Kenwood and checked out each part. It really is very impressive. I think Simon will be expecting gourmet meals now! LOL. I think I’ll start with a cherry and almond cake! Take a look at my shiny new machine.

Here it is with all its parts! Yes, I know I am sad to be so excited about a kitchen machine, but I have wanted it for ages.
It comes with 2 DVDs of recipes and instructions; I’ll have a look at them tonight. It has a 1.5 litre glass liquidiser and a food processor attachment with lots of blades. There are loads of extra attachments you can get for it too. I fancy the centrifugal juicer, the ice cream maker and some of the pasta makers but I guess I had better get on and start using what I have first.
I was going to cook yesterday but I had baby Evan in the afternoon so I ran out of time. He was very good. I walked up to the library with him and he fell asleep in the pram. When we got back Coralie was already back and Saskia was home too. By the time we had dinner and I had made a few phone calls I decided it was too late to start cooking. There is a new video of Evan and some photos in my November album.
