Time for today’s photo challenge which is: 15 Sunrise, sunset or night sky. I knew this was going to be a hard one for me! I am not up in time to capture the sunrise. I blame Simon for that! He doesn’t bring my breakfast until 7.45am and I can’t get up until then! LOL. It’s the way he has trained me! So that meant sunset or night sky. Well all the photos I have ever tried to take of the night sky have always ended up just being black squares so that wasn’t an option either. That left me with sunset.
Sunset caused its own problems! It has been freezing cold here today. Too cold for me to want to venture out. So that meant the photos had to be taken from the window. That’s ok except the sun sets at the front of my house and the houses opposite rather spoil the view! I have the park to the back but of course no sunset! I did however have the moon! Oh I am getting excited.
So I have 2 photos for you. Neither of them is great but hey, I tried!
This first one was taken from my living room window and the sun is just going down behind the houses. Doesn’t compare very well to Mickey’s effort does it!
The second one was taken from my bedroom window looking out towards the park and look.....it’s the moon! If you click on it you might just be able to see a star too!
Ok that’s me done for today. It’s been a boring housework day and you all know how that goes so I won’t bore you. I’ll be back tomorrow.
