26 - A picture that makes you angry
That is the challenge for today’s “photo a day”. My photo is of the public toilets in IKEA! Now before you get the wrong idea I have to say straight off that my anger was nothing to do with cleanliness issues. The toilets there are quite immaculate and well stocked.
What got me wound up, (frustrated more than angry I guess), was the woman in the next cubicle to me.
I will explain.............when I entered the toilets there was no one in there at all. Which meant 12 empty cubicles. I chose the one near the far end. If you numbered them from left to right starting at number 1 on the far left then I was in number 3. I had just got myself in there............. and what happens?
Another woman enters and goes into cubicle 4. She then made way more noise than one would think is strictly necessary...............if you get my drift! Now why would she do that? Makes me mad.
Ok if there is a queue, as there often is at the ladies, then you go into which ever cubicle becomes free first but if you are in the situation I just described you would surely pick cubicle 8 or 9.......................wouldn’t you? Please tell me that you would or I will start to think it must just be me and I am weird!
Simon thought I was weird until I asked him to put himself in that situation at the men’s urinals. There is only 1 man in there. Do you go and stand right next to him???? No you stand several down from him. Simon agreed.
I hate people being to near to me it’s a personal space issue and I don’t like my space invaded! Ok I know technically she wasn’t, she was next door but it makes me mad!!! So there!
