t’s the 5th day of the photo challenge and today’s theme is ~~~~~ A picture of your morning. Today is my day for looking after Evan and Flynn so it was a bit unfortunate that I actually felt worse again today. Yesterday I thought I was nearly better, about 95%. Today I was about 87%! It was ok though as they were both very good.
I am tired now though and really achy. We have just had dinner (lamb chops) and Simon has gone to play cars at his barn so I think I’ll have a bath after Eastenders and relax with my book.
I had a flu injection today and so far so good. They told me that I might feel a bit “fluey” and feverish and my arm will probably go numb. I have never had a flu jab before but thought about it recently and decided that maybe it would be a good idea this year. I spotted a notice in the window of Boots on the way to Coralies this morning saying £12.99. My plan was to stop off on the way home and make an appointment.
However I walked to the shops with Evan and Flynn as Evan “needs some grapes Nanny!” We were in Sainsbury’s when they announced over the tannoy that they were offering flu vaccinations for £8! I made an appointment for 3pm which was when I was on my way back from Coralies.
So for all my British friends, you heard it here first.......If you have to pay for your flu jab it is far, far cheaper to have it done in Sainsbury’s than Boots!!!!!
