A photo a day challenge 8

First off, I do hope nobody was upset by my earlier blog.  If you were, then you were probably one of the moaners!  LOL!  Fortunately it worked and it has already got rid of some of them.  I can't really be doing with all that. I have seen about 10 postings today so far so it seems many of you haven't been put off.

Anyway, down to business.  Today's challenge is: 8. One of your pets.

You can all guess what my photo is going to be of can't you?  Yep, correct a dog!  Not one of the dogs you will be expecting though.

This photo is of our little mongrel Sandy who sadly died in February 2006 at the very stately age of approximately 18.

We got her from a local animal shelter after our Irish setter Buick died.  She was a dear little dog who gave us many years of pleasure, loyalty and love.  I still miss her.  Still have her ashes in my wardrobe.  I think we will scatter them with Rosie's when she is no longer with us.
