Well it was a busy day with house work all morning and then a trip to the allotment about 4pm for a couple of hours. As many of you will know I very rarely eat anything for lunch. However before we set off for the allotment I realised that I was quite peckish and as I also knew dinner would be quite late I decided to grab myself something.
On opening the fridge it was obvious that there wasn't anything that I could grab quickly. I didn't want to stop and make a sandwich and I wasn't that hungry so.............I had a cheese string! They are like plastic cheese! I buy them very occasionally to give to the kids instead of chocolate. I don't know why really as all 3 grandchildren love ordinary cheese anyway. I guess my logic says they will think a little individually wrapped stick is more of a treat?
Anyway, that was my lunch. 1 cheese string!!!
