Another Haiku attempt

A while back I attempted a couple of goes at writing Haiku's. This one I did back in July when I was invigilating an exam. I wasn't shirking my work responsibilities, I only had one child to invigilate. The Morning poem reminded me that I wrote this.
Common house Sparrow
Small, Mighty, native English
Becoming more rare.
Haiku is a kind of Japanese poetry.  The traditional haiku usually combine three different lines of a pattern of 5, 7, 5 on. The Japanese word on, meaning "sound", corresponds to a phonetic unit similar but not identical to the syllable of a language such as English.
