Finally I am home alone! Everything has returned to normal. I had a bit of a lie in this morning. It was bliss. I read a bit more of my book. Once I was up I set off out on my bike and I think I have done at least 3 miles. I did 2 mile circuits of the park plus a circular route up my road and round to the shops and back again.
I am just having a coffee before getting started on the house work. I have lots to do to get back to normal. I think I will aim for a half hour day though so that I also get some time for myself. I have 2 photo themes to do today. Yesterday’s was: 5. Your streets name sign.
Part of the reason that I cycled up the road was so that I could take a photo of my street name. I saw last night when I was checking out everyone’s blog that a lot of people didn’t post their own street name as they thought it was a security issue. Now when I came up with the idea I never even thought about that. I have thought about it now and I have decided that for me I don’t see a problem. If you (or anyone) want to know my address in full you can simply look me up on the electoral roll or the phone book or I dare say in numerous other places. I can’t see that posting a photo of the name of my street is going to make much difference.
So without further ado here is the street name sign at the very top of my road. You can see that There are actually 2....how do you know which is mine? Do you know which is mine? Can you find out which is mine?
Today’s theme is: 6. Your purse or wallet. This means the thing you keep your money in. NOT the thing you keep all your other junk in. That is called a handbag. I had to explain cos the Merikans get this all confused!!!
My purse was brought for me by Saskia several Christmases ago. It is a Radley. It is made of leather and you can see the Scottie dog logo. I love it. It lives in my Radley hand bag. It contains my cards and some coupons and right now precisely £2.23 in cash! It hardly ever has much real cash in it.
The themes for the rest of the week are:
7. Fire. (Suggested by Jenny)
8. A photo taken a mile down the road from where you live. (Suggested by Nancy)
9. Your favourite place to shop. (Suggested by Nancy)
On Saturday or Sunday I will repost the themes for next week.
Ok time to move myself and get on with some jobs.
