Time to do the Daily photo theme. Today it is: 5. Something gold.
I have read lots of your posts already and I have to say that I am impressed with what you are all coming up with. I am afraid mine is a boring entry. Most of my jewellery is gold. I prefer it to silver generally even though I know they say that silver goes with more.
My wedding ring, engagement ring and eternity ring are all yellow gold. The diamond ring that Simon got me for our 30th anniversary is yellow and white gold. I was going to show you my rings until I remembered that I have done that already.
Then I was reminded of one of you who showed a silver charm bracelet. I have a gold charm bracelet that was given to me by my parents on my 18th birthday. It only has 3 charms on it. I think the set of keys were a 21st birthday present. These bracelets were all the rage back then amongst older people. I hardly ever wore it. I never really liked it that much. I much prefer my silver Pandora bracelet where I can swap the charms and beads around as the fancy takes me.
It’s a shame really as it just sits in its box hidden away in my jewellery box. I haven’t worn it in over 30 years and am never likely too. May be I should sell it. It doesn’t even have sentimental value really. I do have a ring that was a present from my Mum and Dad. Now that has quite a lot of sentimental value and I would never part with it. It is identical to my Mum’s engagement ring which I always loved.
I do wear my Pandora regularly and I have another gold bracelet with elephants that I wear from time to time.
