Daily photo theme 8

I am having a half hour day today in an attempt to motivate myself and get lots done.  There are a whole load of things that I keep putting off.  They aren’t even all chores some of them are “Me” things. I blame it on the weather personally.  The Wrong sort of snow always makes me feel lazy!
Talking of snow I must just tell you the Yahoo weather forecast for Peterborough says......SNOW GRAINS!  Have you ever heard of snow grains?  It is a new one on me.  I thought they had gone barmy, but guess what?  We do have snow grains!  I see it now.  The tiniest little snowflakes ever!  I wanted to take a photo but they are too tiny.
Anyway I have my coffee and half an hour so it is time for today’s daily photo theme which is: 8. The inside of your wardrobe.
Oh my goodness, not a good one as mine are always messy.  I have several major tidy up and throw out sessions a year and immediately after that they look good, all colour coordinated and tidy.  This isn’t one of those occasions.
We have very large built in wardrobes in our bedroom.  Simon built them years and years ago (can’t remember exactly).  They go right across the end of our room which is about 14 feet.  They have mirror doors which look really good when they are sparkly clean but not so good when they have doggie nose prints all over the lower level!  Not to mention hair spray and hand prints further up! They do reflect a lot of light around the room though.
Simon has the left hand side where he has hanging space and a lower shelf.
I have the right hand side which is bigger and has hanging space and a lower shelf and also a small half size filing cabinet.
The middle section is all shelves which we share for smaller items.  There are lots of plastic baskets here for stuff like socks and undies.
There is one big long shelf that goes right the way across at the top.  It has a TV with built in video player and a DVD player in the middle.  The rest of that shelf contains stuff such as really old and large photograph albums (think wedding).  Simon’s side has millions of boxes of McDonald’s toys!  Yes really!
Simon had a faze way back of collecting these with an idea of selling them on.  He had read an article about the profits to be made (yeah he’s a sucker!) Having said that he did have a teacher friend who went to the good old US of A every year to sell his British McDonalds toys.  Apparently they went wild for them there.  He would also buy some American ones and sell them here.  He made a good living.  I very much doubt if he still is.
I guess if you get in on a craze the right time then you can make money.  Choose the wrong time and end you end up not just with a wardrobe full of the wretched things but a shed a garage and more!  Yes we have thousands!
Ok I hope you enjoyed your nosey round my wardrobe.
It has been suggested to me by that wretched woman who keeps poking her nose into the photo challenge that these kinds of blogs leave us open to theft.  We are publishing on the web what we have got to potential burglars.  Well my answer is if you feel that way then don’t put up any photos of your house...easy!  In my case I have a message to any potential burglar..... BEWARE 3 FEROCIOUS DOGS!  They are not friendly to strangers they won’t just bite they will rip you limb from limb and should I happen to be in the house Alfie will kill you.  You have been warned.
Tomorrow the theme is: 9. What you want for Christmas?
Jilly
