Oh heavens, look how many days I have missed. Things have been a bit fraught around here with various worries and concerns. Anyway, enough for now, let’s get on with the catch up.
Last Thursday was: 10. A pebble. Hmmm... I meant to go and take some photos in the garden but I didn’t get around to it so here is a photo of a pebbly beach taken last August in Jersey.
Friday was: 11. Something made of wood. (Suggested by Vicki) I have been around the house this afternoon and taken a couple of things for you. These shelves are made of wood Simon made them years ago to take small books and ornaments. I have 2 sets one on the landing of each set of stairs.
Simon also made this clock. It’s a rubbish photo but I am short of time!
My headboard is also made of wood. Samuel made it many years ago. Please ignore unmade bed and mess everywhere. I have been looking after the boys today so nothing has been done so far. As it is nearly half past five and Simon will be in soon, nothing is going to get done. I feel a half hour day coming tomorrow.
Saturday’s theme was: 12. Something made of glass. (Suggested by Vicki) Again I have taken some photos of things in my house this afternoon. First there are 2 rubbish photos of glass snow domes. They are both Disney and both belong to Saskia.
Then there is my glass shower door.
Next we have Coralie’s light fitting in her living room. It is very pretty.
This one show the glass mirrored doors of my built in wardrobe. The shoes are new ones that I got today.
This is a stained glass thingy made by my mother in law. I really don’t like it but Simon does so it hangs in an upstairs landing window.
Lastly we have a scary one......me wearing my glasses! They are called glasses but they actually have plastic coated lens so they fit 2 themes. Scary that this close up I can see dry skin on my nose! I’m taking a leaf out of Pam’s book and showing it how it is!!! I did consider Photoshop but haven’t the time.
Yesterday it was: 13. Something made of plastic.
First I have photos of plastic Dalmatian toys. They are McDonald’s free toys. They are on the shelves in the hall.
Next we have 2 photos of the grandchildren toys which are all over the place as Ellie was here yesterday! They are also rubbish photos!
Today of course it is: 14. Valentine’s Day. What else could the theme be today? Simon gave me this card and these roses before he left for school this morning. He is also cooking me dinner tonight which is why I have some free time this afternoon. Lovely.
Tomorrow the theme is: 15. Lips!
