Down sizing at Yahoo.

As I think most of you know, over the last week or so I have been posting my stuff firstly to Multiply and copying and pasting to Yahoo 360.  Using Multiply on a regular daily basis has helped me get to grips with exactly how it works.  Well.....maybe not "exactly" but you know what I mean!

I have actually found that I really like Multiply.  It works, that's one good reason to like it!  Having said that, it did lose one of my blogs earlier in the week.  One of my friends has explained that it had probably timed out.  She said that if she has composed a long blog, possibly leaving it and coming back some hours later to finish it; she has found exactly what happened to me....press save and poof, it's gone.

Well that particular day, that was exactly what I had done.  That blog had been added to over some hours.  So I guess she may be right, the session on Multiply had timed out.  The lesson to be learnt is that if I do that in future, I must copy it, clear the page and then paste it.

There are other features of Multiply that now I have got to grips with them and learnt how to make them work, I really like. Eg the ability to read a post in my email programme and post my reply directly from there.   I have to say I don't like their CSS coding and I am finding that harder to get to grips with. I had begun to learn how to write my own simple coding for Yahoo, but it doesn't seem to work on Multiply.  Oh well!

Anyway, now I am posting on Multiply, I have decided to downsize a bit at Yahoo 360. I am not closing my site and I will still continue to copy all my blogs there.  It serves as a back up, if nothing else.

I have however today deleted a lot of my friends.  I haven't "got rid" of anyone as such.  There are a few people who haven't blogged in months and I did try to send them messages but those that didn't reply, I have deleted.  All of you who are linked to me in Multiply I have deleted from 360.

I was becoming so  confused and getting quite bogged down in trying to keep up with everyone and sometimes I spent ages trying to leave a comment at 360 only to remember later that the same friend also posts at Multiply where I could have commented in a few minutes.

Chrissi, I have left you on 360.  I know you are also at Multiply but I also know that you are mainly reading and posting at 360.  The other person that I have left even though she has been "missing in action" for weeks, is Carolyn, aka Classy Filly.

Does anyone know what has happened to Carolyn?  I have tried to contact her but never get a reply.  I haven't deleted her as she is a good friend and I don't want to lose her.  Carolyn if you are reading this, then I really hope that you are OK.
