No blogs since Thursday! Yesterday, I was busy all day looking after Ellie so I had no time to even put my computer on. She was very, very good. We played for a while indoors, then we went for a little walk up to the local shops. Ellie fell asleep in the buggy so when we got back I put the buggy safely in Joshua's bedroom and left her to sleep.
I was able to have a little rest and read for a while. I checked on her several times and finally woke her up at 1pm. We then had our lunch and she was such a good girl and ate everything that Nanny gave her.
After that we played in the garden for a few hours. Auntie Coralie called in on her way to have another scan done. Ellie loved the garden, although I did have to stop her from bashing my flowers! She had a little bar of Kinder chocolate while she was out there which she really enjoyed, but got in quite a mess. We were already on the second set of clothes! Goodness knows what Lisa thought.
At about 3.30pm, Uncle Josh came in and he played with her for a while as it was raining outside by then. Grandad came in about 4pm with Auntie Saskia so Ellie had a really big adoring audience! Mummy and Daddy collected her shortly after. I really enjoyed having her and she was so good. I was extremely tired afterwards though and today I am not feeling great. I have zero energy!
There are a couple of nice video clips which I will post later.
I had my breakfast in bed as normal today, once Simon got back from walking the dogs. I haven't really done much all day. I did strip the bed linen and have got it in the washing machine. I also refilled my bird feeders. Simon hoovered all through for me and has got the dinner semi prepared. He is doing his paella, which is lovely. There are only the 2 of us for dinner.
This afternoon Simon has gone over to his barn to work on his truck. I have spent the afternoon resting as I still feel really grotty today. I have put a few things up for sale on EBay which took me quite a while. Some unwanted competition wins mainly.
If I have competition wins that I don't want and I can't think of anybody to give them to, then I attempt to sell them on EBay. Sometimes they sell sometimes they don't. If they don't sell then I give whatever it is to my local charity shop, which is "help the aged". I have made a fair bit of cash this way, which is always handy.
I have also take the photos off my camera and organised them and entered a few online competitions. Then I read for a while as I felt grotty sitting at my computer. We had hoped to go up to Stevenage today to see my Dad and visit Mum. Unfortunately I didn't feel up to it. I rang my Dad and he understands. In fact, he is so worried about me that he said he would rather I just stayed at home! Doesn't stop me feeling guilty though!
The horrid confirmation letter came this morning from the hospital. That didn't help to make me feel good! It is going on about things and I thought we had agreed that I was going to speak to the doctor about having it done at another time under a general anaesthetic. It also says that once you are checked in that all accompanying persons must leave! No way am I going in there to talk to these Doctors on my own! I need Simon there because I will be too nervous to even tell them that I want to discuss my options if I am alone.
The appointment is for Thursday and Simon has told the school that he won't be there. Anyway, thanks to all of you that have offered so much support and told me that you would be just like me. I don't feel quite so pathetic now.
Well that's about all for today. I am going to upload my little videos and then I am going to read some of my book until Simon gets in. After our lovely paella, I think it will just be a restful evening with a DVD. Maybe a relaxing bubble bath at some point too!
