A quick blog as I have a really busy day ahead! I'm just pausing for a coffee. I have already stripped the beds and got the linen washed and on the line. I have cleaned the bathroom and kitchen. I still have to fit in cleaning the down stairs toilet and all the hoovering.
Coralie has lots of appointments today. Reflexology at the hospital first thing; followed by a visit to the salon for nails and eye brows etc. Then on to another hospital appointment for physiotherapy. After that it's back to her house for lunch and a "nap"! We still have to go to Whittelsey to collect all the table linen and then on to the marquee to lay up the tables.
Simon has a couple of free lessons this morning so he is going to sneak out and get the car valeted. We don't want doggie hairs in there tomorrow! He is going to do dinner tonight as I have no idea what time I will be home.
He also has to collect Verity and Adam from the station some time tonight and take Saskia back to her flat to collect her wedding stuff when she has finished teaching. She teaches dance at the Cresset theatre on Friday evenings. She will be staying at our house tonight too.
So lots to do!! I had my hair cut and highlighted yesterday and am going again at 8am tomorrow to have it washed and blow dried. Got to make an effort!!
Last night we went over to see how things were progressing. The marquee is up and there was lots of stuff on site, so it is coming along. John and several of his co-workers were there doing lighting. Hopefully when we arrive this afternoon, it will look a bit more organised!
John has been working on it all week and keeps referring to it as the weekend "gig"! Coralie is rather worried that he has forgotten that he is actually getting married at this "gig"!! John is an event manager and used to staging big concerts. He made Coralie laugh on Tuesday when he was "loading out" for Saturdays "gig"!
At least the weather is supposed to be good. 24% is predicted. I think Coralie would actually prefer it to be cooler as she is not coping well with the heat!
Anyway...only one more "sleep" to go now before the big day. I probably won't be around again until Monday as my cousin Wendy and husband Nick will still be here on Sunday and we will be busy.
