Entry for 13 May 2008

I can't believe that it is already Tuesday.  We had a very busy weekend.  On Saturday it was my daughter Coralie's wedding. On Sunday we still had lots of family here including my cousin Wendy and her husband Nick.  The wedding was great and the weather just perfect.  I will do a wedding blog later when I get the chance to organise the photos.

Yesterday was spent in trying to get caught up on all my house work.  The house was an absolute tip! Stuff all over the place.  I am not used to having a house full of people any more.  I got quite a bit done, but I still have loads to do today.

We have Raz staying with us for a while now as he has finished at Uni until September.  We did spend quite a while yesterday afternoon sitting in the sun in the garden, catching up on all the news.  Must remember not to do that today!!  It's not as nice today, so the temptation isn't there.

For those of you who are saying "now who is Raz?"  He came into our lives about 8 years back when he was Saskias boy friend.  They dated for about 4 years.  Raz's Dad had to go to Pakistan when his own father died to take over a family business.  Raz was just coming up to his GCSE exams at school and so didn't want to have to move to Norfolk where his Mum lives. 

So to cut a long story short, he moved in with us and has been a fixture ever since.  We joke that we adopted him!  He has been at Derby University for the last 3 years doing a degree in Business studies, so we haven't seen him much.   He came back for the wedding and is going to stay a while to see old friends.  It's great having him back.  He went shopping for me yesterday!

Right, I guess that I should get myself in gear and get on with some jobs.  Simon is going to a car rally tonight with Sam.  He will come home fro school just to change then he'll be off.  Hopefully that means lots of time this evening for me to sort those wedding photos.  After watching Eastenders, of course!  I did manage to post an album of Ellie's first birthday photos yesterday.  Have a look, she is so cute!   Back later!!
