Entry for 11 July 2007 (copy)

Coffee time and therefore time for a quick blog. I am having a busy day doing lots and lots of house work. I have cleaned the kitchen and bathroom and done a mound of washing and ironing. When I have finished my coffee, I am going to do my bank statement.
I had a lovely day yesterday. Coralie came round and we went into town to do a bit of shopping. It was quite productive. I got a beautiful blue dress and some very high heeled gold sandals for the Walton school Ball, next week. I also got a blue and white summer skirt reduced to £10, some new bras, some boxers and a T shirt for Simon. Coralie also treated me to a pair of sparkly pink flip flops. I love flip flops!
The new bras have a story all of their own. Coralie has nagged me for ages to get myself properly measured and I know all the womens magazines are always going on about the fact that most of us wear the wrong size bra. Apparently if we could all just get it right we would look so much better. Anyway, I took the plunge and we went to John Lewis where I was duly measured by a very nice and very discrete lady.
So far so good. Guess what? Yes, Coralie was right! For years I have been wearing the wrong size! I have always got a 38 inch B cup. I cannot believe that I am apparently a 32 inch E cup!!!! How on earth does this work? An E sounds enormous and sadly, I am definitely not enormous! LOL. Simon wanted to know if it means a bigger handful!!
Coralie and I had lunch in town and got home about 5pm. Simon was out at a car rally thing last night so I was able to have a peaceful evening and finally got round to booking a few days away. We are going to Dublin (Ireland) in 13 days time. We decided on Dublin as I have never been to Ireland and as Verity is currently working for the summer about an hours drive south of Dublin, it seemed a good choice. We have booked for 4 days and Coralie is going to come and dog sit for us.
I just booked the car park this morning for Stanstead airport and hired a car for the other end. We are really looking forward to it. It will be nice to have a few days away as it is still about 6 weeks until we go to Madeira. I just have to try and get hold of Verity to see if she can get a day off so that we can see her.
Right, coffee time is over so I must go and get on. Simon came home for lunch today so I am now running behind. Later on I will do my Tuesday 13. Yes, I know, It's Wednesday!!
