It is a lovely, bright, sunny, spring morning here in my bit of the UK. Thank you to everyone who sent messages hoping that I was OK in the stormy gales that hit the UK yesterday. I was fine. We had rain on and off all day and high winds but nothing like some other parts of the country. There has been wide spread flooding again in lots of areas.
Where I am in East Anglia the weather doesn't really get too extreme. Looking out of the window this morning and listening to the birds singing it is easy to hope that summer is not to far away. The news tells me however, that there is more stormy weather on the horizon. I am definitely a warm weather girl.
It is 9.20am and I have been up and about for an hour. I have done the bathroom and got a load of washing in the machine. I am going to tidy up and clean the kitchen and then get some ironing done before Coralie gets here.
Coralie is going for her swim as usual and then coming round to me. She started regular swimming at a gym club before she was pregnant with "BOB". I'm not sure exactly what we are doing today but we do have to go and deliver another application for Simon. That will be 3 applications that he has out now. I just hope they are not going to all interview on the same day.
I am hoping that Coralie and I can also pop into town as I have to take back some filters that I got for my cooker fan. They are not right. Once Coralie goes home I have some other jobs to do. My bedroom is quite desperate for a tidy. I have lot of stuff out that needs to be put away. I also have to check my bank statements today as it is nearly half way through the month.
Where does the time go? How can it possibly be nearly half way through March? That means there are only 9 weeks to go to Coralie and John's wedding. I guess I should start to look for an outfit. John got all the men's suits sorted out yesterday. The 2 Dads and the Best Man and John are all having the same. Simon needs to go in and get measured.
Right that's it for now. I need to go and get some of that ironing done and some doggie quilts in the washing machine before Coralie gets here.
