How comes I feel so much better this morning? Hmm, I wonder! Oh yes, no more invigilating for weeks and weeks! Still, I am glad I got through it because those 8 weeks of work have paid for our holidays. Can't wait to go to Madeira.
It's a lovely bright sunny day here in Peterborough at the moment but the weather fore cast is for more heavy rain later this afternoon. In fact I listened to the weather forecast this morning and there is torrential rain all over the UK and particularly the east midlands right round until Monday.
There are flood warnings in place, although floods don't affect our part of Peterborough. What on earth happened to summer? Simon and I are thinking that it will probably come and go while we are in Madeira! I hope you all noticed that I changed my avatar yesterday. I took her out of the classroom. I was hoping to put her in a nice sunny scene and summer clothes but I thought the rain mac was more appropriate!
Well this morning I am going to get started on sorting my house out and getting myself back on top of everything. I am even going to do a bit of a spring clean. However, as I don't want to go mad and because I deserve a bit of "Me" time I am going to pace myself by using my half hour on and half hour off system! That's work for half an hour and then half an hour for what ever I want.
So time now I think to begin my second half hour of work!!
